This unique limited edition is inspired by a classic King Seiko from the 1969.
Thanks to Seiko's in-house automatic Caliber 6L35 movement's remarkable
slimness, this new King Seiko is as comfortable to wear as the original that
inspired it.

This limited edition reimagines the classic with a rounded, box-shaped crystal,
gorgeous light greenish-blue dial. The dial features a textured pattern inspired
by a rising dragon, which serves as a metaphor for the Seiko brand progressing
toward the next 100 years. 

The dragon is also the animal sign for 2024 in the Japanese zodiac, which remains 
a part of the country’s culture. 

The multi-faceted index at twelve o’clock is designed with a pattern that evokes
the feather fletching of an arrow, a feature familiar from traditional Japanese archery
and a fitting detail for a watch that will glide under shirtsleeves. 

The hour and minute hands are cut on three sides, and they mark the time with
a powerful radiance and a certainty toward the future.
